Starting point
Where we started
Your Syracuse Family Dentist had a WordPress website built around a custom template and a collection of plugins. Over time, the site had gone without updates, and the practice had limited ability to manage it.
The custom template was difficult for the team to use. Making changes meant navigating a setup they hadn’t been equipped to maintain, leaving them with a website that was increasingly difficult to keep current.
The practice needed a refreshed website and someone to take responsibility for its ongoing care.
The website
Building around the practice and its patients
We rebuilt the website around the information patients need when choosing a dentist: the care available, the people providing it, and how to arrange a visit.
The homepage introduces the practice through “Honest Care & Healthy Smiles,” supported by welcoming language that emphasizes comfort, clear recommendations, and personal attention.
Doctor introductions, patient reviews, service information, and practical office details help visitors get to know the practice. Clear appointment and phone links give them a straightforward next step.
Content
Content that makes dental care easier to understand
We developed content across the website, including dedicated pages for preventative care, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, crowns and bridges, gum disease treatment, dentures, and orthodontics.
Each page goes beyond listing a service. It explains the treatment in approachable language, addresses common concerns, and helps patients understand what to discuss with the dental team.
The dental implant page, for example, covers replacement options, consultation considerations, timelines, and cost factors. The gum disease page starts with symptoms patients may recognize before explaining evaluation and care.
Throughout the site, the writing reflects the same approach: answer questions clearly, respect uncertainty, and help patients feel prepared to reach out.
Ongoing support
Support that continues after launch
Launching the website was the beginning of an ongoing relationship.
Scoutflow provides website maintenance and ongoing care, including security upkeep and monthly content updates requested by the practice. The team has someone to turn to when information changes or the website needs attention.
That means the practice can request changes to office information, staff details, service content, or other website material without having to navigate an unfamiliar template or manage the technical work themselves.
Routine upkeep helps keep the website current and secure, while requested updates keep it aligned with the day-to-day needs of the practice.
The outcome
A website with someone behind it
The finished project gives Your Syracuse Family Dentist a welcoming online presence, detailed treatment content, and clear paths for patients to contact the office.
Just as importantly, it gives the practice ongoing support. They have a partner who understands the website, handles its care, and helps make changes as their needs evolve.
From planning and writing through the build, launch, and monthly updates, our role is to keep the website useful to the people who rely on it.
